Played a good long time tonight, longest I’ve played TF2 in ages. Still no new weapons for me. Or hats. Or superpowers.

Check out the official TF2 blog for all the relevant info. I tried playing tonight, had serious video lag issues, restarted Steam, joined one of the new maps, and decided to hang back as an Engy and serve up a Teleporter for the team. Then I acquired a Blutsaugher, and my screen hung at the [...]
The Soldier’s new weapon is called The Direct Hit. A high precision version of the standard-issue rocket launcher, the Direct Hit has been engineered from the ground up for Soldiers who have mastered the art of shooting at their targets instead of vaguely near them. Those of you looking to deal splash damage, stop reading [...]
Apparently these two guys are no longer talking, after such a tender friendship too….They met at a Projectile Weapons Expo, presumably in Vegas. It will be interesting to see how Valve controls the inevitable Achievement servers that this update will generate, with Demo/Soldier destroying conveyor belts and the like. Personally, I’m pretty excited about this. [...]
I hate to see a blog with such a catchy name as this one languish. So, I’m trying to revive things with a little help from my friends. Please welcome Teufelsburst, fragmeister extraordinaire, zombie magnet, helpless DoD:S player, hapless TF2 Engineer. So expect more Left 4 Dead content, for certain, but Teuf is an entertaining [...]

Brikhaus first shot the luckless Sniper named Grim off the deck, and I pinned him to that spot before he hit the ground. Total luck, of course. I’m enjoying the Huntsman immensely….It really does have a learning curve.
You gotta see this one in full size. Also, note the Sniper’s shocked(!) expression. Mailed in by Brikhaus, who included this caption: “When taking spy-agra, call a sniper if arrow-rection lasts longer than 3 hours.” Screenshot captured by Mrs. Brikhaus.
Poor Teufelsburst. Pinned up like a butterfly. I tried out the Huntsman today….it’s very difficult.
Brikhaus mailed this one in. You gotta see the original, here. And thus begins the new arrow series, William Tell Me Where it Hurts (credit to Brikhaus).
You guys ‘n’ gals out there will have to enlighten me as to how the Sniper/Spy update is panning out, as I’m Away for the weekend. Dangit to heck! To HECK, I say! “Meet the Spy” was, predictably hilarious and chock full of hidden jokes and other things. It seems Valve is rolling with customizable [...]
