CP_foundry is a pretty good map, though it stalemates terribly on a full server. The best thing about it are the impressive, epic visuals. And yes, the whistle. Replay by FRAGWAGON. Posted from WordPress for Android

We played this map, dod_Strasbourg, a bit at this past weekend’s FNF SnowDay event: It’s a Source version of the old dod_Northbound map. Very good, very fun.
Apparently TF2maps.net has a contest, and I’m seeing these shots in this well done video and…my mouth is hanging open and my jaw is h i t ting hte space b ar . There’s still time to check these maps out and vote on the winners before November 14th! Will have to try these out [...]
And you thought those orange_arena maps were wacked out. Apparently it’s only the beginning: UPDATE: You may want to mute the audio. These maps always attract mic spammers as this video shows. I’m pretty sure this is MarioKart – I saw another video of a TF2 Mario map on Ubercharged. The video effect in the [...]
We’ve been playing this for a while now on FNF. It’s a blast. Personally I like it better than dustbowl. I was going to do a review for it, I have lots of screenshots….but then I got….busy. Or something.
This looks like a blast. Mayhaps it’s a new Arena map with the Heavy Update? Very doubtful, right? Still – anything different would cheer me up about this game: Watch more TF2 Videos From the WeGame description: “Introducing Companion Cube Soccer, the new custom game mode written by StrontiumDog.” They even have a website/forum at [...]
It’s very interesting to see what an organized methodology is in place for the Valve team when considering EVERYTHING. From new weapon loadouts to maps. Check out this fascinating glimpse into TF2′s official mapping process at the TF2 Official Blog.
I’m hesitating when I think of doing map reviews. There’s a couple of reasons. First, I made a map – it developed over a couple of years and went through several widely different versions. I know from experience that you cannot judge a map by playing it one time. This ESPECIALLY goes for balance testing. [...]
Earlier I gave a first impressions review of map CP_Steel_b4. Well, what’s even cooler is that it’s got one of those slick, Valve-style filmstrip how-to vids: cp_steel by Fishbus from FLOOR_MASTER on Vimeo.
Another map we tried last night was cp_fastlane. I don’t have much to say about it. It was nice looking, carefully made, but not very interesting. It didn’t have anything memorable about it. It needs a setpiece!! However, I did like this CP (Grim again in the pic): Sorta reminded me of a TFC style [...]
