Something to tide you over till the Scout Update madness strikes with annoying fury…

Wow! I logged in!

February 12th, 2009

Let’s see if we can get this ball rolling again.  I mean, why not.  It’s fun. That and I have like a million screenshots that I’ve been taking in the interim.

Just popping in to say, I’m downloading the demo (it’s at 70% and climbing). Now, I’ve previously expressed my total disinterest in the game before, but I should say that much of that is a shameless cover for my abject fear of scary stuff. Will keep you posted. **UPDATE** Played the demo for 5 minutes [...]

Gav’s Rocking Character Art

September 4th, 2008

TF2′s community has some fantastic talent.  Check out this beauty, as Gavin says:  “I’m aiming to emulate the postcard type look with my own style infused. . . .” By Gavin Hargest….check out his very nice portfolio website here.

Character Design by Valve.

August 29th, 2008

TF2 Offical Blog has an interesting article on their character design for the Demoman. If you haven’t read it already, do take a look….Funny to see how they decided to go ahead with the stereotype of the angry Scotsman, but realized that visually it was veering too close to Groundskeeper Willie: Willie in full Highlander [...]

Still Alive

August 29th, 2008

She would be a beefy-looking farmer’s wife from the coldest parts of the old [...]

Engy Tips From the TF2 Manual

August 12th, 2008

If you haven’t looked at your TF2 manual, take a peek at Ubermanuals.com (where you can also find wayward manuals for vacuum cleaners). Always keep this in mind when Maintaining your Upgrade of the SG: When Ultra-Sapper device is affixed to the top section of the sentry device, remove red and green wire and tune [...]

Separated at Birth?

August 9th, 2008

I was perusing that old photo of the M1 garand’s inventor, John C. Garand – when it struck me – there’s something familiar about that guy. Check this out: Even down to the tie. Freaky! Perhaps Mr. Garand’s evil twin brother went to work for the “other side”.

The other night I got this Achievement So I thought it was a good excuse to post something on the real M1 Garand, and it’s inventor, John C. Garand.  Click here for a detailed description of the “rifle that won the war”. Mr. John C. Garand.
