Since the WAR update, I’ve had more problems with Steam than I ever recall having. Never mind that I haven’t found a single item upgrade for the Solder and Demoman, while others have found them all in 15 minutes. (I’m talking about YOU Mrs. Brik!)

What is really bothering me is the fact that when the announcer-lady yells “VICTORY” I have been rewarded for that victory by a lock up, complete with looping techno-announcer lady effects. I could live with that if I could simply end the task and restart the game. Instead I’m greeted by the infamous Blue Screen of Death.

I’ve got to hand it to Valve. There’s no better way to stop the steamrolling in TF2 than to wreck the winner’s computer prior to the start of the next round.
