As expected, there was a lot of Pyros, it was raining Achievements, and a good time was had by all on FNF. Even some johnny-come-lately Medics were following Pyros around, trying to mop up the Bedside Manner Achievement (healing someone as they get an achievement). I got that one myself, tonight. No, I didn’t try Pyro, I’m strangely stubborn about it. There were so many Pyros, there was always plenty to do as another class. We had a blast.

The big surprise for me, was that they added ctf_well to the list of maps. They took out the superfluous middle, and made it more, “Well-like”. Defined as, “more like TFC’s Well”. Fantastic changes. And you can get on top of this middle area just like in TFC:
cp_Fastlane, I think was duller than the b4. Not a fan of the map. I didn’t get to play Turbine. I did get one of my rockets turned away from me by a Pyro using his new compressed air thingamawhatsits.
I had to bookend Teufels achievement shot with this. Life’s not all trophies and sparkles, and I’m here to remind you all of that. I’m not bitter that Teufels kills me over and over again, no way.

oddly, for never really playiing the pyro, the achievements inspired me.. i had the most fun ever as a pyro tonight…

The Pyro achievements inspired me to play medic actually. Pyro’s always been my favorite class, but the pyro carnage was great for knocking out those more boring medic acheivements. I now am the proud owner of a Bloodsausage Gun which I will probably never, ever use again!
