A fella on the steampowered forums named huggybear posted a topic with the question, “Give your opinion on frag vids”.  I post here my response, which was thoughtfully considered after wasting too much time on youtube and vimeo watching this variety of crap.

 ”99.9% of frag or “pwnage” vids are boring.

Some tips:

*Your taste in music sucks. Pick something unique.
*Don’t show us an unending edit of head shots.
*In fact, don’t do a Sniper frag vid.
*Do let us hear the in-game sounds.
*Never do an intro title sequence. They’re boring.
*Never do end credits. They’re superfluous at best.
*Don’t use your crappy music. Your taste in music sucks.

I realize the goal of a pwnage vid may not be entertaining machinima. But, you are putting it out there for the world. Follow my advice and you will be a step above the legions of wasted, onanistic, egotistical, crappy-music-filled trash.”
