When FuzzDad over at DoD:S steam forums brings one of these topics out, an update is nearing completion. Nay – it is upon us, verily. Thus spake Sir Dad of Fuzz. Seriously, he’s got his contacts, but as he openly acknowledges, the devs don’t tell him everything. From the topic:
“Well…most of us have been patiently waiting for a few years for a DoDS update and I have it on good authority we’ll see one “soon”. As 1st suggested by Dradz, go ahead and guess the date the update will come out. I’ll figure out something unique to give the winner.
And I’m talking real dates…not “soon” and “Valve Time” or 2010.
Question 1) What exact date will the DoDS Update occur on?
Question 2) List four changes you believe will be in the update.
Question 3) List the exact hour and minute the update will occur (PST).Questions 2 and 3 will be used should there be a tie.
Silly? Yea…no doubt. But there’s a bunch of folks in here mad they haven’t seen an update for a LONG time and others just happy to get one and others mad they haven’t seen an update for a LONG time AND also happy to get one (at the same time) and then others who complain about everything in their lives and DoDS is no exception. So…this is just an attempt to get everyone in the house, in one non-flaming thread for some silly stupid guestimation.
Leave your thoughts on DoDS to other threads and I’ll delete flame, or any post (or sections of posts) that are not fairly direct date guesses. You can use the “Who wants to be a Millionaire” answer style (where they talk out why they made the decision they did) but nobody can use me as their lifeline.” – FuzzDad
